ASRC FEDERAL (Agile Decision Sciences) is seeking a Software Engineer Senior I for our contract located at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This is a REMOTE position with occasional travel to the client site required.

Each position plays a crucial part in maintaining and advancing our ServiceNow environment, ensuring seamless operations and robust support for CECOM personnel worldwide.

Position Description: The Software Engineer Senior I will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. This role involves working on complex software systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. The Software Engineer Senior I will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Unix and Windows network systems.

  • Provide software and hardware support for networked systems.

  • Install, upgrade, and configure server systems.

  • Monitor system configurations and event logs.

  • Perform system testing and troubleshooting.

  • Develop and implement procedures for server backups.

  • Ensure compliance with IA standards and security requirements.

Requirements :

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another Engineering or Technical discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with TCP/IP, information security, and system administration of Unix or Windows networks.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Fully IA certified in accordance with AR 25-2 and DoD 8570.01 M.

  • Must be a U.S citizen eligible for a Secret security clearance.
