Aerotek is currently hiring an Assembler/Apprentice HD Mechanic for our client located in Aldergrove, BC (full time, long term, training provided)

Looking for experience in heavy equipment mechanically assembly or apprentice HD mechanics looking for work in Aldergrove. This is a long term opportunity with ability for growth and a company that can offer a career rather than just a job.

Must Have

• 1+ years of heavy equipment mechanical assembly experience or HD mechanic ticket

• Ability to read production schematics

• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/18 of an inch

• Own set of tools (list will be provided)

Job Description

• NOT AN ASSEMBLY LINE OR PRODUCTION ASSEMBLY

• Assembly of the body of the trucks and truck boom attachments

• Assembly of pipes, flanges, tool boxes, steps and various parts for the pumps on the trucks correct fitting of all parts, running airlines, removing/assembling fuel tanks

• Will be using hand tools (wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers and pliers) and or power tools

• Reading and Understanding Blueprints and Engineering Drawings

• Maintain tools and clean shop environment

Shifts

• Afternoon Shift: Monday – Thursday 3:30pm – 1:30am

Wage

• $25 - $40

• Wages are depended on experience
