Service Advisor

What We Need From You- Job Duties and Requirements:
Review daily appointment schedules and be prepared to greet customers in the drive with knowledge of their appointment
Review primary appointment reason with the customer and ask customer questions to identify any other issues their vehicle may be experiencing
Generate repair orders for customers
Dispatch the job to the properly trained technician
Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor
Calculate customer's payment; including deductibles
Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining documents and records
Arrange towing and temporary transportation for the customer
Answer incoming calls from customers to address concerns and set appointments for future service needs
Make outgoing calls to customers to update them on the status of their vehicle in service.
Any additional training or responsibilities as deemed necessary by Service Manager
Qualifications/Essential Job Functions:
Must have a valid driver's license
High school education or equivalent
Ability to drive a manual vehicle preferred, but not required
Excellent oral communication skills
Experience working in cashier/credit card systems preferred but not required.
Must be able to stand for long periods
Flexibility with schedule to work nights and weekends
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Must be able to manage relationships across all channels and levels
