To help grow and scale this business, we are looking for an Operations Analyst who has strong operational, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.

About this role:

The Operations Analyst works with Practice Managers and Business Operations to execute the resource management, partner, and order operations mechanisms. The individual will manage daily responsibilities and projects independently and influence multiple stakeholders. They will use their in-depth experience to support the Professional Services Sales and Delivery Practice teams. The team member will continuously improve operational processes and functions, and ensure that effective management of company and external resources is operationally effective and allows the company to be more competitive.

The Operations Analyst manages multiple assignments and processes concurrently, prioritizing accordingly – within and outside of their team, including actively participating in relevant work streams. They escalate matters that may have increased business risks at the right time and influence others through their professional experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a mix of Consulting, Strategic Planning, Analytics, and Operations background. They will have demonstrated experience providing strong business analytics, and delivering on projects of all sizes. They must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are able to roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. In this role you will anticipate bottlenecks, make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Managing the availability of resources by maintaining up-to-date assignment information;

  • Constantly monitoring resource assignments and timesheet data to ensure accuracy of forecast;

  • Maintaining up-to-date profiles of skills, knowledge, and competencies for practice resources;

  • Allocating ProServe staff and partners to ProServe projects;

  • Advertising open project assignments, and promoting the availability of consultants to encourage sharing of resources across regions to increase utilization;

  • Proactively spot projecting bench time for consultants

  • Own weekly activities of skills maintenance, variance accuracy and reporting as well resource request hygiene (demand hygiene)

  • Be a strategic partner with ProServe Area Leaders to provide long term resourcing insights, to support hiring plans, to calibrate organization change and optimize the supply of resources v/s demand

  • Own the setup for all Project accounting for Professional Services ensure complete and accurate project and assignment set up in project accounting system consistent with the contract statement of work for all projects, while adhering to SLAs.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership, sales operations, revenue operations, and legal on the setup and approval process of ProServe engagements while demonstrating a sound understanding of the business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 3+ years' Business Operations, Sales Operations or Professional Services experience

  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • 1+ years’ experience in Professional Services resource management

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM applications

  • Continuous improvement, problem solver, and collaborative team player mindset

  • Ability to manage, educate, develop and consult with internal clients
