B. Jackson Construction is looking to add a Traffic Signal/Street Lighting Tech, to our fantastic Public Infrastructure team. We are looking for a candidate who is career-minded and understands the importance of being a Team Player.

Journeyman license preferred, or equivalent experience in:

• Basic Understanding of Traffic Signals (UDOT Certified or willing to certify)
• Basic Electrical knowledge
• Bucket Truck Experience
• Line Truck Experience

Pay is negotiable and based on skills and experience.

Position Responsibilities:

There are certain physical requirements that must be met, including, but not limited to having the ability to operate heavy equipment safely on the jobsite, complete pre/post work inspections, and minor maintenance of various types of equipment. Must also have the ability to manage, track and report productivity. Must be able to independently follow and give instructions, and most importantly, understand and abide by Safety Regulations and Requirements.

Position Qualifications:

• Valid Driver License with no major citations within 5 years (Class A CDL preferred)
• Willing to submit to pre-hire and random drug testing
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• UDOT Traffic Signal Certification
