Infoblox Receptionist/Facilities Assistant in Tacoma, Washington

We are looking for a Receptionist / Facilities Assistant to join our team in Tacoma, WA. In this contract role, you will work, Monday through Thursday 32 to 33 hours per week. You will act as the face of Infoblox, effectively managing all the facilities-related aspects of the office. You will also head up our emergency response program, help organize and execute fun in-office events, and help employees with day-to-day office needs. What you'll do: Act as the "Face of Infoblox" for the People & Places team, overseeing the office and the reception desk Maintain the security and safety of the office at all times Monitor badge access inventory for vendor/contractors and assist with maintaining a keen sense of security for the building Assist as a key contributor to the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as part of the Facilities Department Support the TA and HR team with onboarding, interview scheduling and new hire setup Ensure the timely and accurate delivery, packaging, receiving, and shipment duties of various materials and documents. Works with employees and vendors to resolve shipping and receiving matters and discrepancies Maintain regular maintenance and general upkeep throughout the facility to ensure a clean and safe working environment Perform weekly facilities onboarding and offboarding to terminated and new hire desk set up and take down Monitor office services including snacks, office supplies, catering, and lunch orders Perform event coordination including training, all-hands meetings, onsite and offsite group events, catering Support the sustainability, environmental, and community awareness programs Support the Facilities Team and employee base with various administrative tasks and initiatives What you'll bring: 1+ years of front desk or other job-related experience Admin & software skills, including MSFT Office, Envoy Front Desk Security Sign System Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with audio-visual equipment or comfortable learning to operate and field questions Self-starter and self-motivated, not afraid to roll up your sleeves Ability to seek solutions to problems and anticipate needs. High level of customer service Experience receiving visitors, multitasking, and handling conflict Willingness to roll up sleeves and get hands dirty to get the job done What success looks like: After six months, you will... Complete necessary safety and facilities-related certifications Set up inventory lists for facilities, vendors, IT, etc. Establish vendor relationships Initiate local events to promote our culture, ESG, and diversity-related events Will have a working knowledge of all internal systems and processes After about a year, you will...
