SEEKHAVEN INC Sexual Assault Coordinator/ Advocate in MOAB, Utah

The Sexual Assault Coordinator + Advocate assumes a crucial role in delivering comprehensive services to individuals affected by sexual assault in Emery, Grand, and San Juan counties. This includes providing general &  mobile advocacy, referrals to essential resources, and legal and medical advocacy, including attending forensic exams. Additionally, the Coordinator + Advocate is responsible for coordinating informative trainings with the communities of southeastern Utah on topics related to sexual assault, fostering awareness and support. A strict code of conduct and the maintenance of confidentiality at all times are foundational responsibilities for this position. 

* *As an integral member of our organization, the Sexual Assault Coordinator + Advocate will report to the Outreach Manager and play a pivotal role in providing advocacy support to clients impacted by acute sexual assault in Emery, Grand and San Juan County. Collaboration with Seekhaven Advocates, and the Transition Specialist is crucial in addressing clients' needs within these counties. Close collaboration with the prevention department is also expected, as the Coordinator + Advocate will actively contribute to effective community outreach efforts throughout southeastern Utah, raising awareness and providing education on sexual assault.
