Having a "Team" mind-set is a must with the ability to work well with others. Attention to detail and hard work ethic required. DANB RHS certification is a plus but not required upon hire. Willing to provide on-the-job training for the right candidate. High school diploma or equivalent required to be considered.Benefits after training and specific probationary periods will include:401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountResponsibilities and Duties after training will include:Clinical charting in the computer software that is completely accurate and thoroughDiscuss oral hygiene instructions with children and parentsBe familiar with all aspects of pediatric dentistry and be able to communicate clinical issues with parents in an easy to understand wayBehavior management of children who are young, uncooperative, disabled, or have other special needsKnow the abbreviations and clinical terms used in the officeParticipate in housekeeping dutiesCleaning and maintenance of dental and office equipmentBe familiar with all instruments and tools used in the practice by namePerform oral prophylaxis and coronal polishingTake accurate radiographs and display correctly on the computer monitorChairside assisting of all aspects of clinical dentistryStrive to keep the schedule running on timePlace sealants unassistedFit bands to teeth for appliancesTake accurate impressions and pour up working modelsCreate simple appliances in the lab such as a band and loopMaintain a clean work station.Stock treatment roomsStock instruments, trays and supplies in their designated locationSetup cassettes with clean instruments in the correct orderParticipate in the rotation schedule for additional daily responsibilities (Versed, Floater, Morning and Late Assistant, Sterilization, etc.)Anything else that you or management think of that will help the practice better reach its goals.Please submit resume and cover letter by email.
