A steel fabrication and erection company located in North Salt Lake, Utah, is now accepting resumes for a full-time Estimator/Project Manager.

The Estimator/Project Manager (EPM) will work closely with the Operations Manager, General Manager, Shop Foreman, Field Foreman, and other Company staff to fulfill job responsibilities and ensure the ongoing success of the Company. The EPM will report directly to the Operations Manager. The EPM will assist in working with our Management Team, ironworkers, suppliers, vendors, engineers, detailers, contractors, developers and clients. The EPM will assist in estimating, contracting, material ordering, contract document control, RFI's, change orders, scheduling, cost and manpower budgeting, project workflow, material tracking and procurement, and day to day construction administration as needed.

Specific Duties associated with this position include but are not limited to the following:

·       Steel Material Takeoffs.

·       Budgeting and Estimating.

·       Scheduling -- Material and Manpower.

·       Procurement -- Vendor Material Ordering and Deliveries.

·       Document Control -- Project Drawings, Specifications, RFI's, ASI's, Change Order Requests, etc.

·       Assist General Manager and Operations Manager with project specific and general company items.

·       Submittals -- Prepare and submit for review and approval as well as read and respond to subcontracted vendors submittals and shop drawing approvals.

·       Documentation of site inspections, progress meetings, and meeting minutes as required.

·       Assist in developing and maintaining good working relationships with vendors, clients, contractors, developers, and owners.

·       Assist with day-to-day scheduling and planning for shop and field personnel and subcontractor management as directed.

·       Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge and background with structural steel is preferred, but not required.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
