Growing and established chemical company is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team!

Title: Senior Accountant

Duration: Direct Hire

Location: Downtown Houston (77002)

Focus includes:

• Responsible for the full scope of accounting functions and managing the entire process

• Assist with financial statements and report packages to share with executives

• Help support and facilitate internal and external annual financial audits

• Monitor compliance with financial policies and regulations, ensuring financial integrity

• Responsible for process improvement initiatives and optimization of best practices; take lead on implementation of effective procedures!

  Targeting candidates with:

• 5+ years of similar experience, ideally someone with public accounting and Chemical industry experience

• Bachelor’s in Accounting required

• Working knowledge of GAAP

• Strong attention to detail, comfortable presenting information to a group, and must be comfortable working closely with leadership!

• Knowledge of SAP, Chempax and Concur

• Position is onsite M-F, with

• Offering $100-125K, depending on experience + bonus potential
