Precision Security Team is a veteran owned and operated company in the northern Colorado area. We service areas from Denver, CO to Cheyenne, WY. As an Event Security Officer with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Officer at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team's professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team's core values and code of conduct everyday.

Event Security Officer is our most flexible position. You can work as much or as little as you want, picking up shifts in our scheduling app. We ask that you work at least three shifts per month. Most shifts would be in the evenings and on the weekends. We are looking for individuals to conduct event security for venues all over Northern Colorado. Events include but are not limited to: concerts, rodeos, weddings, city events, etc. Venues range from indoors to outdoors, stadiums to mountain stages, with dozens to thousands of people in attendance.

Duties and Responsibilities: The following are duties you may perform at your site. Duties include but are not limited to: -interacting with clients, patrons, guests, partners, coworkers, and the public -maintaining situational awareness at all times -denying access to unauthorized personnel -securing your site and preventing vandalism and theft -screening and conducting metal detector wanding and bag checks to ensure no contraband is being brought to the site -performing liquor control, preventing outside alcohol from coming in and inside alcohol from going out of the facility -monitoring alcohol use and and prevent patrons from over drinking and being overserved -assisting with emergencies and building evacuations -maintaining confidentiality of all activities within your site -utilizing verbal judo to de-escalate situations -utilizing minimal use of force unless the individual poses an imminent physical danger to themselves, someone else, or you -maintaining a professional and conservative demeanor at all times -following SOPs at assigned site -following, communicating, and enforcing local laws and regulations

Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time.

Pay: Starting base pay rate is $18.50/hour.

Requirements: -18 years of age or older -high school diploma or GED -pass required background check

Physical Requirements: -able to stand for up to eight hours at a time -able to pass company basic hand-to-hand course -able to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift -able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted

This is a W2 position. Employees working 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health be efits.
