Our Sleep Disordered Breathing team is currently seeking applications for the role of Lead Systems Engineer – Patient Interface.

Let’s talk about the role:

In this role, you will work collaboratively supporting the PI systems engineers across multiple product development projects, translating user requirements and usage scenarios into system and design specifications to ensure products achieve performance, functionality and reliability and commercial objectives

We are also looking for someone to act as our “Guild Leader” for PI systems engineering within patient interface. Guilds are a new concept for us, but the idea is to create a community of practise for System Engineering in PI to ensure we have consistency and best practises across our product development teams. You will also provide technical mentoring to Systems Engineers in PI and be accountable for building capabilities in the department. You will also act as a bridge to the systems engineers in our SDB devices projects, leveraging approaches, as appropriate.

You will be motivated and excited by providing highest value and quality to the customer and you will be able to balance risk in innovation, design and technology to achieve optimal project and commercial results

You will need to be able to communicate the business risk and impact of system interactions, and influence to ensure appropriate action is taken.

You will be highly agile with the ability to dive deep when required and have detailed knowledge of all aspects of systems engineering across several mask development projects. You will be a highly intelligent, resourceful and analytical problem solver with the ability to synthesize multiple points of view and information in a cross functional environment..

Ideally, you will have a bachelor degree in Engineering with significant broad based commercial experience.
